Marie Elizabeth Davis

Marie Elizabeth Davis, 66 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, January 8, 1958, in South Bend, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Allen Wiseman and the late Thelma Marie Hager Rodriguez. Mrs. Davis had a strong faith in God and enjoyed attending local Bible Studies. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 29, 2024, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Bill Taylor. Interment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery in Yorkville, Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of fifty years Chester L. Davis of Newbern, Tennessee; two sons, Ronald Davis of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Michael Davis (Melissa) of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Jessica Mouzy (Randy) of Williford, Arkansas; two brothers, Ron Rodriguez (Judy) of Dowagiac, Michigan and Jimmy Rodriquez (Nancy) of Elkhart, Indiana; two sisters, Liz Rodriguez (Ray) of Elkhart, Indiana and Lori Rodriguez of Elkhart, Indiana, she is also survived by several step-sisters and step-brothers ,three grandchildren, Jacob, Jessie and Michelle and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Eddie Rodriguez and a stepsister, Cathy Rodriguez.

Honoring Mrs. Davis as pallbearers will C. J. Mullins, Aubrey Knight, Sr., Aubrey "A. J." Knight, Jr., Michael Davis and Randy Mouzy.
