Marcus Eugene Pope, ninety-one of Ridgely, Tennessee, died on Friday, September 8, 2023, at his residence in Ridgely, Tennessee.
Born Wednesday, December 30, 1931, in Roseland, Arkansas. Mr. Pope was a retired industrial mechanic for Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Union City, Tennessee.
Cremation services for Mr. Pope are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, James Marcus "Mark" Pope (Kay) of Toledo, Ohio; one granddaughter, Heather Pope Smith (Jonathan Staggs) of Ridgely, Tennessee; daughter-in law, Linda Pope Paris of Tiptonville, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren, April Wilson Ayala (Tony) and Alana Hutcheson (Jon Nick) and soon to join the family, great great granddaughter, Whitley Jane Hutcheson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lou Morgan Pope; mother, Myrtle May Pope and son, Robert Michael "Bob" Pope.
