Malcolm Turnbow, Jr., 73, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Friday, January 31, 2020, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Friday, December 13, 1946 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Malcom Turnbow,Sr. and the late Beatrice Mae Lisey Turnbow. Mr. Tunbow was a retired truck driver for Averitt Express and proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Funeral services for Mr. Turnbow will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 3, 2020 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Ronnie Turner. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation for Mr. Turnbow will be held Monday from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of forty-nine years, Martha "Patsy" Goodwin Turnbow of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sons, Jimmy Turnbow (Chastity) of Newbern, Tennessee and Bobby Turnbow of Dyersburg, Tennessee; four sisters, Charmaine Buckner (Henry) of Nankipoo, Tennessee, Rosemary Colvin of Halls, Tennessee and Lorelei Bushart and Jill Garrett both of Gates, Tennessee and two grandsons, Braden Turnbow and Noah Turnbow.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Luther "Mick" Turnbow.
Honoring Mr. Turnbow as pallbearers will be Brian Ramm, Jessie Gray, Kevin Wright, David Garrett, Aubrey Messer and Chris Messer.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers memorial contribution be directed to Church Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 1060 West Main Street, Newbern, Tennessee 38059
