Lynda Gardner Park

Lynda Gardner Park, 77, of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born, Tuesday, August 13, 1946, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late David Alton Gardner and the late Johnnie Dee Russell Patterson. Mrs. Park was a homemaker and former LPN with Parkview Hospital. She was a member of Trimble First Baptist Church. 

Graveside services for Mrs. Park will be held at  2:00 PM on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Dr. Rick Isbell. Visitation for Mrs. Park will be  held on Thursday from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of fifty-six years, James Thomas "Jamie" Park of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Kimberly Pruitt (Joey) of Newbern, Tennessee and she was "Nana" to her granddaughter, Shelby Nicole Autry of Newbern, Tennessee 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Lt. James A. Gardner.

Honoring Mrs. Park as pallbearers will be Jimmy Adams, Dusty Adams, Danny Petrie, Eddie Tharp, Jesse Castleman, Ryan Webb, Chris Street and Rand Godwin.

The family asks that memorial contributions be directed to Trimble First Baptist Church, P. O. Box # 187, Trimble, Tennessee 38259.
