Lucinda Cala

Lucinda Ann Cala, 82, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Friday, October 22, 2021, at AHC of Dyersburg in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Thursday, May 18, 1939 in West Frankfort, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Arno Dubre and the late Jennie Todd Dubre.  Ms. Cala was a retired LPN for Clinton Manor in New Baden, Illinois. Her most precious times were spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. Cala will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Brady Cemetery in Akin, Illinois.  Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Todd Cala of Okawville, Illinois; one daughter, Cristina Lowry (Greg) of Newbern, Tennessee and she was "MawMaw" to four grandchildren; Lyndsey Lowry (Jamie), Adriana Jackson (Daniel), Joel Lowry and Aislinn Lowry and four great-grandchildren, Aliza Lucinda Jackson, Nora Rose Jackson, Owen Ryan Jackson and Wren Elizabeth Jackson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband,  Jerome Cala.
