Louise Perciful

Louise Perciful, 91, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at her residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, October 25, 1933, in Dyer County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Irvin Melton and the late Lois Ardell Washam Melton.

She will be lovingly remembered as a devoted daughter, mother, sister, she was called FaFa and Mamaw by her grandchildren who were the joy in her life, whose greatest joy in life was the time she shared with her family.  She cherished every special moment spent with them and made countless memories that will be treasured forever.  Ms. Perciful was a baptist by faith, where she was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee.  She loved the comfort she received from her fur baby Enzo.

A private graveside service will be held at a later in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee, beside the love of her life.  Her late husband, George Perciful.
 

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Kay Perciful Doss of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Danny Wayne Perciful (Wanda) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sisters, Judith Joyner and Brenda Bullock both of Friendship, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, George William Perciful; two sisters, Lou Ann Nicholson and Lois Melton; one brother, Bobby Melton.
