Lloyd W. Scott

Lloyd Wesley Scott, 86,of Kenton, Tennessee died on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.
Born Wednesday, August 9, 1933. in Newbern, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Neely F. Scott and the late Bertha M. Willis Scott.  Mr. Scott retired from the United States Air Force with the rank of Staff Sergeant after serving his country for 20 years.  After his retirement he worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber of Union City, Tennessee and was the owner of Scott's Bike Shop.  He was a member of Main Street Church of Christ in Newbern, Tennessee and the American Legion in Tiptonville, Tennessee.
Funeral services for Mr. Scott will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Sean Sullivan. Interment will follow Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by one  son, Donald R. Scott (Sheila) of Martin, Tennessee; one daughter, Patricia A. "Trish" Scott of Kenton, Tennessee; two sisters, Sharon Ricketts (Paul) of Dresden, Tennessee and Jan Vinson of Lakeland, Tennessee; one grand-daughter, Kait Scott of Martin, Tennessee; a host of nieces, nephews,cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Leona Scott, his eldest son, Lloyd Scott, Jr.; two brothers, Buddy & Roy and three sisters, Floy, Faye and Mary.
Pallbearers will be Steve Dodds, Brandon Dodds, James Paul Medlin, Mark Tyler, Dr. Rob Jordan and Jerry Pierce. Honorary pallbearer will be Harold Banks.
