Linda Farmer Obituary

Linda L. Farmer, 81 died on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born on November 5, 1943, in Trimble, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Raymond George Stewart and the late Virginia Louise Morris McCorkle.

Linda dedicated many years of service to Wachovia Bank in Jacksonville, Florida, where she worked as an Assistant Vice President. She was known for her honesty, integrity, and unwavering work ethic, earning the respect and admiration of both colleagues and customers.

A woman of deep faith, Linda carried her love for God throughout her life. In her final days, she found comfort in reading and writing in her Bible, a testament to the strength of her devotion.

Above all, Linda loved her family dearly and cherished the times they shared together. Her kindness, sweet spirit, and gentle nature left a lasting impression on everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. She was a woman of grace, faith and love.

Funeral services for Mrs. Farmer will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Ronnie Turner. Interment will follow in Pierce Cemetery in Trimble, Tennessee. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Jimmy Fred Bobo (Patricia) of Woodridge, Illinois; one daughter, Kai Ariehelle McKenzie of Jacksonville, Florida and a host of grandchildren with two being Sara Nichols of Newbern, Tennessee and Clayton Overholts of Jacksonville, Florida and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Farmer; one son, John Frank Bobo and one brother, William Ralph Stewart.

Honoring Mrs. Farmer as pallbearers will be family and friends.
