Lester J. Landstrom Obituary

Lester J. Landstrom, 90, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, March 22, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Andrew Landstrom and the late Sarah Dapp Landstrom. Mr. Landstrom proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Chief Communications Officer in the Korean War and was discharged with the rank of Sergeant. He retired from North American Sheet Metal after forty-seven years. Mr. Landstrom was a man of all trades; he built his own home doing most of the work himself. He loved animals and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

At his request, he will be cremated, and no services will be held.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of sixty-four years, Shirley Walters Landstrom of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one daughter, Sheila Roser (Phil) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Krista Roser of Nashville, Tennessee and Andrew Roser of Dyersburg, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Keith Landstrom, two brothers, Rick Landstrom and Andrew "Andy" Landstrom and two sisters, Doris Egger and Martha Hiller.

The family asks that memorial contributions be directed to the charity of donor's choice.

Special thanks to Baptist Hospice of Union City and Sandra Connell for the love and care that they have extended to the Landstrom Family.
