Leslie (Les) John Dieth, 73, died May 7, 2023, with his wife by his side. He was retired from NSK, a member of East Dyersburg United Methodist Church and an avid fisherman. Some of his happiest days were spent on the lake with his fishing buddy, Jeff. No two ever had the hilarious adventures like they did on the water. Bill Dance bloopers had nothing on them.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife and best friend of 46 years, Susan Dieth, Miss Sweet Pea and dear friends Jeff and Trena Caldwell of Dyersburg, TN.
Les was the definition of a life well lived. He left a legacy of love and integrity. He was a joy to be around, enjoyed making people laugh and always looked for the blessings in life. He faced his storms with grit and perseverance, never complaining, but thanking God for each day in spite of his pain.
A heartfelt thank you to our close friends who surrounded us with incredible love and support by staying with us during the last days of Les' illness. Also, to Dr. Laurel Campbell and Taylor Anderson of MedSouth, the angels at AseraCare Hospice and the wonderful staff on the NW hall of The Bay at Dyersburg.
Memorial contributions would be appreciated at the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or Paws to Care, PO Box 905, Dyersburg, TN 38025.
