Lee Roy Holland, Jr.

Lee Roy Holland, Jr., 92, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Monday, November 8, 2021, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, December 16, 1928 in RoEllen, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Lee Roy Holland, Sr. and the late Edna Mai Brown Holland.  He was a retired general sales manager for Odom's Tennessee Pride.  Mr. Holland was a Mason and Member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. 

Funeral services for Mr. Holland will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in the Chapel of Johnson - Williams Funeral Home.  Officiating this service will be Pastor Lane Self.  Interment will be held in the Rehoboth Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee with Pastor Gary Durham officiating.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of seventy-one years, Annie Laverne Slaughter Holland of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Tommy Lynn Holland of Bartlett, Tennessee; one daughter, Vicki Holland-Sutton (Terry) of Troy, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Aleta Spence, Justin Lee Sutton, Anna Lynn Holland, Benjamin Miles Holland, Bronson Watson, Quinton Spence and Chelsie Spence and three great-grandchildren, Jaxxon Sutton, Branson Spence and Adlee Spence.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Terry Lee Holland; one daughter, Lisa Holland-Watson; one great-great grandson, James Caleb Spence one brother, Joe Ben Holland, and five sisters, Louise King, Sammie Davis, Mary Owens, Edith Roberts and Dessie Hammersley.

Honoring Mr. Holland as pallbearers will be Eric Maupin, Stephen Maupin, Casey King, Billy King, Jamie Spence and Adam Featherston.
