Larry Joe Hollis, 72, of Lenox, Tennessee died on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.
Born Monday, June 27, 1949, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late J.T. Hollis and the late Lillie B. Acklin Hollis. Mr. Hollis retired from the State of Tennessee after twenty-six years of service, as an automotive technician for TDOT.
Funeral services for Mr. Hollis will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Minister Billy Bates. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of forty-five years, Brenda Craig Hollis; one son, John Thomas Hollis of Lenox, Tennessee; two sisters, Teresa Pease (William) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, and Doris Essary (Eddie) of Lubbock, Texas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Hollis.
