Larry Gene Davis

Larry Gene Davis, 73, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Friday, December 20, 2019, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born October 16, 1946, in Mississippi. he was the son of the late Warren G. Davis and the late Annie Cook Davis. Mr. Davis was a retired employee of Colonial Rubber.

Graveside Services for Mr. Davis will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, December 23, 2019, at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Tyler Neeley. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM on Monday, December 23, 2019, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by three daughters, Crissie Parker (Ricky), Mary O'Guin, and Joyce Peabody; one son, Craig Davis (Stephanie) : two sisters, Billie Kay Howell and Barbara Runions; one brother, David Davis; seven grand children, Dylan Parker, Trace Parker, Madison Davis, Adaline Davis, Brandon Ashley, Justin Cowart and Zackery Tibbs and three great-grand children, Eli Cowart, Rea Jean Ashley and Sorin Lee Ashley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty A. Davis and one sister ,Ann Baker.

Honoring Mr. Davis as pallbearers will be Brandon Ashley, Dylan Parker, Trace Parker, Craig Davis, Ricky Parker and Steve Hanson.
