Larry Dennis Fowler

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Larry Dennis Fowler, who departed this life to be joined with the Lord on May 25, 2025, at the age of 76. Larry was born on September 15,1948, in Dyer County, Tennessee, to John and Lovell Fowler.

Larry was a man who never met a stranger. A man who lent a hand to anyone who needed it. He knew everybody, and more importantly, he got along with everybody. His warmth, humor, and easygoing nature made him a friend to many. He had a sharp wit and a playful spirit, always ready with a teasing remark or a lighthearted joke, often at his loving wife Barbara’s expense, but always wrapped in love. His humor lit up every room, it was his unique way of showing how much he cared. You could always find him in the backyard elbow deep in a lawnmower engine. He had a Knack for fixing things, which kept him surrounded with countless friends.

Larry had a deep and unwavering love for his family, especially his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, who brought him endless pride and happiness, he wore the name “Grandad” proudly and put all of his babies above all else. He found great joy in watching them all grow, always offering support, love, and guidance.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Fowler, his three daughters, Erin Fowler, Angie Pratt, and Crystal. His siblings Jackie Fowler, Barbara Whitt, Rodger Fowler, and Frieda Hardee. Grandkids: Cheyanne Hardin(Nicholas Binkley) ,Dala Osborne, Zachary Hardin, Jay Pratt, Keely Northcott(Daniel Northcott),Blake Hendry (Brittany Hendry)Katelin Hendry, Karenlynn (Marie) Lardino, Great grandkids: Jacob Jr Pike, Eleanore Pike, Morgan Pike, Carter Pike, Greyson, Hardin, Alana Magana, Cooper Hardin, Emma Hardin, Aubree Binkley, Fallon Binkley, Liam Binkley, Logan Binkley, Rayella Osborne, Zoey Osborne, Aaliyah Osborne, Lucas Osborne, Jameson Hendry, Tara Hendry, Amilya Hendry, Adelynn Smith.

His legacy of kindness, connection, and love for family will live on in the many lives he touched.

Funeral services for Mr. Fowler will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2025, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating the service will Pastor Joe Pedigrue. Visitation for Mr. Fowler will be held on Friday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
