Larita Jane Ligons

Larita Jane Ligons, 71, of Ridgely, Tennessee died on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Oakwood Community Living Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Monday, December 16, 1948 in Union City, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Todd and the late Peggy Sharp Todd. Mrs. Ligons was the former manager of Reelfoot Lake Inn, former employee of Brown Shoe Company and was lovingly known as "ReRe" to the many children that was touched by her life. Mrs. Ligons was a member of the River of Life Church in Ridgely, Tennessee.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ligons will be 2:00 P.M. on  Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the River Of Life Church in Ridgely, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Clayton Mahan. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 PM on Saturday, September  5, 2020 at the River Of Life Church in Ridgely, Tennessee. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, Tennessee.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, whom she married on February 19, 2003, Jimmy Ligons of Ridgely, Tennessee; son, Michael Davis (Carol) of West Moreland, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Miranda Ligons of Florida;  four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, David Stafford and one brother, Guyland Todd.

Honoring Mrs. Ligons as pallbearers will be Jason Rhamy, Nicky Jones, Ricky Ligons, Nicky Ligons, Tyler Ligons and Steven Ligons.

Honorary pallbearers for their "ReRe" will be Katie and Nick Jones, Ava Kate Rhamy, Finnley & James Luke Garland, Sosie Yancey, Savannah, Harper and Ethan Makin, Savannah Simmons, Jon Thomas Green, Maggie Jo Berry, Howie Sherrell, Erin and Ashleigh Byrd, Hanna Jo and Emery Thomas, Brooklyn Keeling, Tatum and Nolan Walters, Cameron Homra, Chase Williams, Daniel Northern, Ben and Sam Barnes, Mia Avery, Mia Jones, Kingston and Collin Avery, Ava and Ella Walley, Eden Wortman and Elizabeth Childrey.
