Kitty Lou Tubbs

Kitty Lou Tubbs, 64, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, March 1, 1960, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, to the late Helen Kay Butler Hinson and Calvin Smith. Mrs. Tubbs was a former employee of World Color Press, The Coffee Cup and the Old Hickory House and the owner of Kitty's Carry Out. She was a member of Lemalsamac Church Of Christ.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tubbs will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Wilford Mobley. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory,  her husband of  forty-five years, Albert " Cotton" Tubbs (who affectionally named her "George")of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Brandon Tubbs (Elizabeth) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one daughter, Cathy Ann Anderson of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother, Joe Hinson (Janalyn) of Dyersburg, Tennessee ; one  sister, Cindy Sims (Alan) of Newbern, Tennessee and she was "MawMaw"  to her four grandchildren, Cayla Gordon, Maggie Anderson, Maygen Tubbs and Baylee Tubbs and one great-granddaughter, Caiya Harris .

Honoring Mrs. Tubbs as pallbearers will be Amarion Gordon, Zac Parker, John Gregory, Austin Gregory, Cody Cook and Cody Williams. Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Hodge.
