Kimberly Jo Blackwell Jetton

Kimberly Jo Blackwell Jetton, 56, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Born Friday, December 20, 1963 in Clarksville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Hayden Raymond Blackwell and Linda Jo Whitlow York. She was a former caretaker of children and former employee of the Dyer County School System. Mrs. Jetton was a member of the West Dyersburg Church of Christ.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jetton will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 14, 2020 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Mr. Dean Anderson, Mr. Jerry Jeter and Mr. Jim Chamblee. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Jon Kent Jetton of Newbern, Tennessee; one son, Jonathan Kyle Jetton and his wife, Angie of Jackson, Tennessee; her mother, Linda Jo Whitlow York and her husband, Michael of Clarksville, Tennessee; one brother, Hayden Raymond Blackwell, Jr. of Clarksville, Tennessee and one sister, Carol Ann Blackwell Davis (Jeff) of Ohio.

Honoring Mrs. Jetton as pallbearers will be Jim Jetton, Chad Jetton, Mike Burns, Ron Reed, Gary Whittle and Larry Stafford. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael York, Bill Burns and Todd Shelly.

The family ask that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be directed to the Dyer County Community Cancer Fund, P.O. Box # 1055, Dyersburg, Tennessee 38024.
