Kim Owen

Kim Owen, 48 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at her residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, August 28, 1976, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the beloved daughter of Kerry Keith Owen and Faye Owen. Kim will be remembered for bringing a smile to all who met her and for her kindness and sweet spirit. Kim graduated in 1996, from Dyersburg High School where she named to the Who's Who and received the Principle's Award. She was a participant in the 1995 World Special Olympics. Kim was devoted and faithful member of the West Dyersburg Church of Christ. She was a dedicated employee of the Dyer County Clerk's Office for ten years before working at Comprehensive Services of Tennessee where she was a valued employee.

Kim's Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at West Dyersburg Church of Christ. Officiating this service will be Mr. Jim Chamblee and Mr. Rick Crawford and Mr. Tom Eisom. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at West Dyersburg Church of Christ.

Kim leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Faye Owen of Dyersburg, Tennessee: two uncles, Pat Owen (Patricia) of Newbern, Tennessee; Tommy Ellis (Barbara) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one aunt, Joan Ellis Rumley of Atlanta, Georgia; her fur baby, her dog, "Fonzie" and a host of cousins who she loved dearly.

Family members meeting Kim in heaven are her father, Kerry Keith Owen; grandparents, Arthur and Gladys Owen, T. C. and Nora Lock, Glen, and Blondell Ellis; three uncles, Lowell Owen, Bobby Gene Owen, Clifford Rumley, a special uncle and a special cousin, Jackson Rumley.

The family would like to say a special thank you to all her caregivers who were a special part of her life for many years.
