Kenny Lynn Burns, 52, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, October 26, 1968 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late George William Burns and the late Zoda Tirey  Burns. He was a retired employee of Ermco.

Funeral services for Mr. Burns will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Carmon Dennison. Visitation for Mr. Burns will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of six years,Kathy Robertson Burns of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two daughters, Hillary Small (Brandon) of Atlanta, Georgia and Sara Burns; two step-sons, Doug Rose, Jr. (Amber) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Justin Rose of Dyersburg, Tennessee; four brothers, Gary Burns of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Terry Burns (Judy) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, George Burns, Jr. of Elbridge, Tennessee and Anthony "Amp" Burns (Debbie) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sisters, Lana Flowers (Chip) of Brookeville, Maryland and Cheryl Miller (John) of Hanover, Pennsylvania and four grandchildren, Adeline Small, Nora Small, Tyler Rose and Ashton Rose.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Loretta McMillian and one brother, Douglas Burns.

Honoring Mr. Burns as pallbearers will be Gary Burns, Terry Burns, George Burns, Anthony "Amp" Burns, Randle Young and Lanny Tidwell.
