Obituary

Kenneth Harold Boyd, 69 of Yorkville, Tennessee died on Sunday, January 10, 2021  at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, March 18, 1951 in Collinwood, Tennessee he was the son of the late Carl Boyd and the late Eathell Seiber Boyd. Mr. Boyd was retired employee of  Illinois Central Gulf Railroad.

Funeral services for Mr. Boyd will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 14, 2021 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Ronnie Turner. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgley, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday from  5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory  two sons, Chad Boyd of Yorkville, Tennessee and Tim Boyd (Jennifer)  of Newbern, Tennessee: one daughter, Tammy Watson (Bryant) of Ridgely, Tennessee; one brother, James Boyd (Ramona) of Newbern, Tennessee; five grandchildren Mandy Watson, Eric Watson, Kenneth Brandon Boyd, Taylor Boyd, and Tyler Boyd and three great grand children Lane Boyd, Bentley Boyd, and Elizabeth Boyd.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jo Ann Boyd Glisson and Carolyn Boyd; one great grandson Asher James Boyd.

Honoring Mr. Boyd as pallbearers will be Kenneth Brandon Boyd, Tyler Boyd, Taylor Boyd, Tommy Olhausen, Craig Wright, and Bryant Watson.
