Kenneth Dale Rose

Kenneth Dale Rose, 78, of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Monday, January 20, 2025, at his residence in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born Friday, October 25, 1946, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Ralph Ross Rose and the late Rae Wells Rose.  At an early age Kenneth discovered his lifelong passion for horses. Alongside his father, he founded Rose and Rose Paints and Quarter Horses, a family venture that embodied his deep love for raising and trading horses. He was a man who enjoyed life's simple joys--trail rides with family and friends--sharing stories and passing down his knowledge of horses to the next generation.

For forty-seven years, he was a loyal employee of Gibson Electric Membership Corporation. Known for his strong work ethic, he formed lasting friendships with colleagues and clients alike.

To honor Kenneth's wishes, no services will be held.

He is survived by his wife, of sixty years, Judy Johns Rose of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Carol Rose Robinson (Adam)of Millington, Tennessee; one son, Timothy Scott Rose (Sandy) of Newbern, Tennessee; one sister, Katrena Rose of Kittredge, Colorado; he was "PePaw" to his two grandchildren, Faith Rose McLean (Jamie) and Alex Rogers (Liz) and his fur-baby, his Schnauzer, Lacie.

The family ask that memorial contributions be directed to Trimble Elementary School, 256 College Street, Trimble, Tennessee 38259.
