Kenneth Allen Shanklin

Kenneth  Allen Shanklin, 77, of Dyersburg, Tennessee passed peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones, on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

Born Thursday, July 8, 1943 in Dyersburg, Tennessee .He was the son of the late J. W. Shanklin and the late Katherine Conner Shanklin. Mr. Shanklin was a retired shift supervisor for the City of Dyersburg.

Cremation services are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of fifty-seven years, Elaine Kozlowski Shanklin; four daughters, Kris Wilson (Greg) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Kathy Warner (Bubba) of Dyersburg, Tennessee,  Kim Wilson of Unionville, Tennessee  and Kelly Gibson (Andy) of Trimble, Tennessee; eight sisters, Lois Sansom of Oakland, Tennessee, Carol McLaughlin of Marietta, Georgia,  Dolly Pease of Collierville, Tennessee, Wanda Grimes of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Deanie Pretti of Savannah, Tennessee, Nancy St. Gelas of Tillsonburg, Ontario, Canada, Charlotte Turner of Lakeland, Tennessee and Cynthia Lumley of Tigrett, Tennessee; and he was "PawPaw" to his two grandsons, Cody P. Wilson (Katelyn) and Gary E. Fowler (Lindsey) and his great-grandchildren, Baylee Fowler, Laynee Fowler and Grey Fowler.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Shanklin and James Shanklin and two sisters, Joyce Britt and Doris Ann Shanklin.
