Kelly Fowler, 53, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Regional One Medical in Memphis, Tennessee. Born Tuesday, August 8, 1972, in Lake County, Tennessee, Kelly was the son of Roger Fowler and the late Peggy Lowery Fowler.
A devoted father, grandfather, and outdoorsman, Kelly found happiness in the simple pleasures of life - especially fishing and spending time in nature. His happiest moments were those shared with his family, particularly his young grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Fowler will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 9, 2025, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Jim Keeling. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
Kelly is survived by his loving daughters, Shelly Fowler of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Lindsey Fowler of Newbern, Tennessee; he was "PawPaw" to his adored three grandchildren, Carmen Duncan, Amari Duncan, and Josiah Kizer and his father, Roger Fowler of Newbern, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Lowery Fowler.
Pallbearers honoring Kelly's memory will be Perry Permenter, Tim Wilson, Mark Roberson, Mickey Hudson, Jon Troutt, and Brian Hatch.
Kelly 's memory lives on in the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created with those who knew him best. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
