Keleta Katrinka Sanford Obituary

Keleta Katrinka Turner Sanford, 77, of Tiptonville, Tennessee died on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at The Bridge At Ridgely in Ridgely, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, March 10, 1942 in Lake County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Francis Marrion Turner and the late Loucille Ray Callison Turner. Mrs. Sanford was a home-maker, loving mother, retired employee of Ridgely City Hall and member of the Calvary Independent Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sanford will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Calvary Independent Baptist Church. Officiating this service will be Rev. Carl Southerland and Rev. Ronnie Turner. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Calvary Independent Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Jeff Rivers (Crystal Gail) of Ridgely, Tennessee, William Rivers (Lee Ann) of Ridgely, Tennessee and Stacey Rivers (Regina) of Tiptonville, Tennessee; two daughters, Nina Darlene Baltezor (Duke) of Tiptonville, Tennessee and Theresa Marie Watkins (Tim) of Tiptonville, Tennessee; one brother, Jody Turner (Judy) of Dyersburg, Tennessee two sisters, Jan Platt (Richard) of Ridgely, Tennessee and Theresa Butler (John) of Florida; fourteen grandchildren and twenty one great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Sanford, one son, Ross "Bubba" Rivers, one grandchild, Kimberly Dawn Upson; six brothers, Shorty Turner, Aubrey Turner, Billy Turner, Charles Turner, Jamie Turner and Jeffrey Turner and four sisters, Alice Chandler, Nevita Pilgrim, Nancy Runions and Mildred "Sister" Tidwell.

Pallbearers will be Charles Callens, David Callens, Duke Baltezor, Chris Runions, Josh Rivers and Cotton Brewer. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Tidwell, Lucas Baltezor, Jesse Rivers and Jayden Tatum.
