Katie Mae Hall

Katie Mae Hall, 84, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Friday, April 19, 2024, at her residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, January 17, 1940, in Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Webster Ashley and the late Lyda Mae Brown Ashley. Ms. Hall was a retired employee of HECO Manufacturing.

Cremation services for Ms. Hall are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.  

She is survived by one son, Stanley W. Nail of Friendship, Tennessee; one daughter, Tammie N. Ayers of Gates, Tennessee; three brothers, Jerry Ashley of Nashville, Tennessee, Glen Ashley of Newbern, Tennessee and Randy Ashley of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sisters, Corene Sharp of Newbern, Tennessee, Patsy Perry of Newbern, Tennessee and JoAnn Peevyhouse of Louisiana; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Don Ashley, Bobby Ashley, Charles Ashley and James Ashley; six sisters, Betty Ashley, Lavene Hannah, Jewel Dunivant, Margaret Harrison, Louise Sutter and Lorene A. Pruitt and her grandmother, Lula "Mama Brown" Moore.
