Kathy J. Burton, 65 of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at her residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Tuesday, August 27, 1957, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Bill Gruggett and the late Margie L. Stanfield Gruggett. Mrs. Burton was a bus driver for the Dyer County School System.
Cremation services for Mrs. Burton are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She is survived by three sons, Jimmie Burton of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Billy Gilliam (Teresa) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Johnathan Jones (Amanda) of Dyersburg, Tennessee: two sisters, Marion Fay Fortner of Alamo, Tennessee and Deborah Plunk of Henderson, Tennessee and eight grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Burton and two brothers, Charlie Lepping and Don Lepping.
