Judy Hall Fowlkes

Judy Hall Fowlkes, 74, of RoEllen Tennessee, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous journey with dementia.

Born on October 15, 1951, Judy lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished Nana, great-grandmother, beloved sister, and faithful friend.

Judy’s faith was a guiding force throughout her life. She was raised in Mount Tirzah Baptist Church and later became a faithful member of Three Oaks Baptist Church, where she remained until her passing. Her faith was evident in the way she loved others—with kindness, grace, and a servant’s heart.

She dedicated many years of service to the State of Tennessee before retiring.

Above all, Judy treasured her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, David Fowlkes. Together they built a life centered on love and devotion to their family. She was a proud mother to Melissa Wilson, Casie Wilson, Jamie Wilson (Alicia), Leigh Ann Lehmann (Shaun), and Clint Fowlkes (Heather).

She was the proud Nana of Weston Petty, Huntyre Brooke Bowers (Nic), Evan Lemons, Gracee Lindley, Trent Wilson, Tyler Fowlkes, Aubrey Lehmann, Tucker Fowlkes, Chloe Wilson, Easton Lehmann, and Lydia Wilson, and the proud great-grandmother of Pate Thomas and Dixie Mae.

One of Judy’s greatest joys was quilting, a skill she learned from her beloved mother, Grace. Through each quilt she lovingly crafted, she shared warmth, comfort, and a piece of herself with those she loved.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Raymond Hall, and her sisters, Joyce Donnell and Rae Brown.

She is also survived by her siblings, Bill Hall, Mary Kay Wells, Jim Hall, and Janice Lowery, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Judy will be remembered for her gentle spirit, quiet strength, and unwavering love for her family. Though her family grieves her loss, they find comfort in knowing that her love remains woven into the fabric of their lives. The faith she lived, the family she nurtured, and the legacy she leaves behind will continue to inspire all who knew her.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who provided care, support, and compassion during her final days.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fowlkes will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service is Bro. Bill Phipps and Bro. Tyler Childress. Interment will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

Honoring Mrs. Fowlkes as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
