Judy Carol Smith

Judy Carol Smith, 60 of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, August 4, 1964, in Hayti, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Willie Ray Smith and the late Dorothy Louise Cox Smith. Judy grew up in Caruthersville, Missouri, where she and her sisters shared many memories.

She a former Veterinary technician.  Judy loved her many nieces and nephews, who were like her own because she never had any of her own. She loved animals. Judy was great at cross stitching, quilting, and other crafts. She enjoyed getting up early and going  to yard sales, flea markets, and thrift stores to see what bargains she could find.

Cremation services for Ms. Smith are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by her two sisters, Linda Norman of Newbern, Tennessee and Debbie Summers (Gaylon) of Newbern, Tennessee; three nieces April Goodman, Priscilla Fowler, and Rebecca Cross; one nephew, Gaylon Summers, II and a host of great nieces and nephew that she loved dearly.
