Judy A. Pavy

Judy A. Pavy, age 70, of Portage, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026. She was born on November 13, 1955, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, to Willie and Melvis (Hill) French. 

Judy is survived by her loving partner, Larry Bonham; sister, Sandra French; brother, Bill (Sumoang) French of Dyersburg, TN; sister-in-law, Raeann French; nephews, Mark (Jill) French, Adam (Rebecca) French; niece, Amy (Wayne) Daniels and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her service dog and faithful companion, Jake. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rick L. Pavy and brother, Don French.

Judy graduated from Lew Wallace High School Class of 1974. She was a hairstylist and owned her own hair salon in Hobart where she enjoyed serving her many loyal clients for many years before retiring. Judy loved flowers and enjoyed gardening. She also enjoyed her trips to the casino. She was an avid animal lover and really liked Rottweilers. Judy loved spending time talking to her family and friends on the telephone and above all else she adored her family and those closest to her. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm with Funeral Service beginning at 6:00pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home in Portage, Indiana.

Graveside services for Mrs. Pavy will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
