Judy Turner, 74, of Rutherford, Tennessee, died on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at her residence in Rutherford, Tennessee.
Born Tuesday, November 28, 1950, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late W.B Fair and the late Eddie Sue Sawyer Fair. She was a former operator at Dyersburg Fabrics..
Known for her warmth, sweet spirit, and boundless love, Judy found her greatest joy in the time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Nothing made her smile brighter than their laughter filling her home.
An avid supporter of Tennessee football, Judy’s Saturdays in the fall were sacred. Clad in orange, she could always be heard cheering, “Go Big Orange!” Her devotion to the Volunteers was more than fandom—it was tradition, pride, and joy wrapped into one.
Funeral services for Mrs. Turner will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 30, 2025, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home, with the Rev. Billy Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish, one her daughter, Sally Hunter (Chad) of Rutherford, Tennessee; two sisters, Sue Ann Dudley (Don) of Bogota, Tennessee, and Tina Kay Kirby (Robert) of Millsfield, Tennessee and she was "Granma" to her three grandchildren, Keaton Hunter, Jared Hunter, and Christian Hunter and one great grandchild, Londyn Hunter.
