Judith Darlene Carroll

Judith Darlene Carroll, 69, of Dyer, Tennessee, formerly of Dyersburg, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at her residence.

Darlene was born on June 30, 1954, in Crockett , Tennessee, to the late Willard Lee Brock, and the late Edna Mauden Brooks Peden.  She was a member of the West Dyersburg Church of Christ for many years prior to health problems.  She was a homemaker, who enjoyed baking, gardening, painting, making quilts, and fishing.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana who loved her family dearly.  

Graveside services for Mrs. Carroll will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, April12, 2024, at Dyer County Memorial Gardens in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Mr. Paul Helton. Visitation for Mrs. Carroll will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday April 12, 2024, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tennessee.  

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Billy Carroll of Dyer, Tennessee.  one daughter Molly Cupples (Carmen) of Dyer, Tennessee. four Grandchildren: Olivia Cupples, Ryder Cupples, Kiley Carroll, and Trent Carroll; one sister, Deborah Cutler of Nashville, Tennessee and two brothers, Samuel Peden of Waverly, Tennessee and Terry Hopper of Jackson, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Darlene was preceded in death by her son Frankie Joe Carroll, one sister Edna Paulette Peden and two brothers Tommy Youmans and Mark Peden.  

Pallbearers will be Carmen Cupples, Ryder Cupples, Justin Dycus, Kevin Yochum, Randy Brooks, and Richard Mills.  Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Gean, Patrick Cupples, and Eddy Childress.
