Joseph M. Kozlowski, affectionately known to his family as "Uncle Duke", 76 of Allegan, Michigan died on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at residence in Allegan, Michigan.
Born Saturday, April 1, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Joseph Kozlowski and the late Gertrude Klockowski Kozlowski. Mr. Kozlowski was a retired employee of Bagcraft in Chicago, Illinois. He moved to Allegan, Michigan where he made many friends, took pride and joy in working in his yard and enjoyed being out on Swan Lake.
No public service to be held.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Elaine F. Shanklin of Dyersburg, Tennessee; God daughter and niece, Kim Wilson of Halls, Tennessee; nieces Kelly Gibson of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Kathy Warner of Finley, Tennessee, and Kristine Wilson of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two great nephews Gary Fowler (Lindsey) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Cody Wilson (Lauren) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; great-great nieces, Baylee Grace Fowler and Laynee Jane Fowler and great great nephew, Grey Allen Fowler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law of fifty-seven years, Kenneth Shanklin.
