Joni Seron "Sissi" Moody

Joni Seron "Sissi"  Moody, 62, of Newbern,Tennessee, died Monday, January 4, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-East Memphis, Tennessee. 

Born on Wednesday, April 2, 1958 in Dyersburg, Tennessee to the late Donald Mathis and Joan  Chandler Cogdell. "Sissi" was a 1976 graduate of Dyersburg High School and a former employee of Colonial Rubber.

Graveside services for Ms. Moody will be 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Rehoboth Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday and on Sunday from 1:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Allan Moody of Pensacola, Florida; her mother,Joan Chandler Cogdell of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; one brother Darrell Harvey Osborne of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and five grandchildren, Nathan Moody, Noah Moody, Alyssa Moody, Chandler Moody and Spencer Moody.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one son, Malcolm Moody; one sister, Ginger Newsome and one brother, Eddie Mathis.
