Johnny Lee Watson, 70,of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, March 15, 1949 in Gibson County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Joseph Temis Watson and the late Willie Mae Imogene Cartwright Watson.

Funeral services for Mr. Watson will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Bethel Cemetery in Yorkville, Tennessee. Vistation will be Saturday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by one daughter, Kym Wilson-Velitchkov of Iowa; five, brothers, J. W. Green of Miami, Flordia, Joe Allen Watson of Ohio, Daniel Watson of Newbern, Tennessee, Billy Gene Watson of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Willie Paul Watson of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sisters, Sadie Powell of Niles, Michigan, Nancy Ruth Butler of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Delores Plummer of South Bend, Indiana and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Lonnie Watson, Joe Kirk Watson, Harlan Eugene Watson and Howard Van Watson and five sisters, Willie Mae Watson, Jossie Mae Powell, Martha Coleman, Mattie Moline Crawford and Leora Denise Thomas.

Pallbearers will be Nigel Mayberry, Joseph Caldwell, Timothy Rucker, Marcus Fisk, Brian Fisk and Marquestion Watson.
