Johnny Don Ford, 77, of Ridgely, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.
He was born on Sunday, June 20, 1948, in Dyer County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Noan Ford and the late Etta Kent Ford. Mr. Ford proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he later worked as a diesel mechanic with Warner Trucking and C and W Motors.
Johnny was known for his stubborn nature and found comfort in the peace and quiet of time spent on his own.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Mr. Patrick Williams. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
He is survived by his loving niece and caregiver, Susan Manns (Jimmy Lee) of Ridgely, Tennessee, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Delila Peery and Carolyn Rogers.
