Jimmy Dean Sims

Jimmy Dean Sims, 79, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Friday, May 29, 2020, in Bucheon, South Korea.

Born Monday, June 9, 1941 in Uijeongbu, South Korea, he was the adopted son of the late William Joseph "Joe" Sims, Jr. and the late Margaret Josephine Sims.

Graveside services for Mr. Sims will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Pastor Byonghwan Choi. Visitation for Mr. Sims will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Jennifer Davis (Mark) of Newbern, Tennessee and Josephine Tadlock (Brett) of Cookeville, Tennessee; one sister, Candice Lewis of Jackson, Tennessee and four grandchildren, Logan Davis, Loren Davis, Rutger Tadlock and Piper Tadlock.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Hak Soon Sims.
