Jerry Lynn Davis, 73, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Greystone Healthcare in Blountville, Tennessee.
Born Friday, October 5, 1951, in 38024, he was the son of the late Eugene Davis and Dorothy Upchurch Ray.
Mr. Davis served his country with honor and dedication during his time in the U.S. Army. After his military service, he built a successful career as a self-employed roofer.
In his spare time, Mr. Davis enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—especially sitting down for a good game of cards.
Cremation services are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by one daughter, Misty Dawn Sparkman (Mike) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two sisters, Pam Ray of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Donna Canady (David) of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; one grandson, Jordan Sparkman (Chelsey) and two 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in by two brothers, Paul Ray and Charles Ray and three sisters, Vicki Janette Davis, Carolyn Ann Anderson and Doris Jean Chandler.
