Jerry L. Coleman, 81 of Trimble, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at his residence in Trimble, Tennessee.
Born Tuesday, February 15, 1944, he was the son of the late D. B. Coleman and the late Mary Modine Turner Coleman.
Jerry was a retired employee of Tokheim in Newbern, Tennessee, where he dedicated many years of hard work and friendship. A man who deeply loved his family, Jerry shared 57 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sue. Their bond was a true example of devotion and partnership.
He took great pride in keeping a well-manicured yard and never hesitated to call Charles if he thought the grass was getting a bit too high—always making sure everything looked just right.
Jerry also had a special place in his heart for his fur baby, "Dang," who preceded him in death. He dearly missed and loved his faithful companion.
Graveside services for Mr. Coleman will be held at 9:30 AM on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Pierce Cemetery in Trimble, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Chad Gibson. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Canada Coleman of Trimble, Tennessee; a nephew that he loved as his son, Charles Wayne Coleman (Connie) of Trimble, Tennessee; one sister, Mary Alice Isbell of East Prairie, Missouri and a special sister-in-law, Fay Coleman of Trimble, Tennessee and a host of extended family members who he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Coleman, Billy Coleman and Danny Ray Coleman and three sisters, June Thurmon, Judy Ann Huey and Wilma Fay Taultimer.
