Jeffrey "Jeff" Lynn Williams

Jeffrey  "Jeff" Lynn Williams, 52 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Mr. Williams was born February 6, 1968 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of J. B. Williams and Carolyn Faye (Bane)  Williams. Mr. Williams had been in law enforcement for fourteen years and was a Sergeant with the City of Newbern Police Department. He was proud to be a member of the 29th Judicial Drug Task Force.

Funeral services for Mr. Williams will be 12:00 PM on Friday, October 16, 2020 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Pastor Lyndel Fisher. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Abigail Williams of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Emily Williams of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his parents, J. B. and Carolyn Williams of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Amy Leggett (Mike) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Carter Hixson and Lainey Franklin and two nephews, Garrett Leggett and Conner Leggett.

Honoring Mr. Williams as pallbearers will be his fellow Newbern Police officers, Richard Barnes, Greg Barr, Cranston Fisk, Danny Tippitt, Tommy Gitchell and Sam Bell. Honorary pallbearers will be Garrett Leggett, Conner Leggett, and Dylan Franklin.
