Jeanette Rose Stout Moore, 82, of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at her residence.
Born Friday, September 10, 1943, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Commador J. R. Stout and Violet Jeanette McKnight Stout.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Moore will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will Rev. Dr. Corey Williams. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on December 20, 2025, at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Private Interment will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Moore was a 1961 graduate of Trimble High School and later earned her master's degree in education. She was a former teacher with the Dyer County School System where she taught English for ten years and Special Education for seventeen years. She was a devoted member of the Dyersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was a member of Lydia Ladies Circle and former lifelong member of the Adult Choir.
She is survived by one daughter, Cali Jeanette Moore Acuff (William), two brothers, Dennis Stout (Vicky) of Newbern, Tennessee and Gary Stout (Denica) of Newbern, Tennessee; one sister, Rene' Stout Evans (Raymond) of Newbern, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Carla Moore of Newbern, Tennessee and she was "Mimi" to her three grandchildren, Luke Acuff (Frances), Clara Acuff and Nathan Moore (Olivia) and one great-grandchild, Jane Moore
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John Ed Moore; one son, Jason Terrill "Terry" Moore and one sister, Patricia Stout McCutcheon.
The family ask that memorial contributions be directed to the Thrive Youth Program at the Dyersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 2280 Parr Avenue, Dyersburg, Tennessee 38024.
