Jean Ranelle "Rae" Rose

Jean Ranelle "Rae" Rose, 93 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at her residence in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, November 23, 1924 in Finley, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Buford Wells and the late Nina B. McDavid Wells. She was a retired seamstress/machine operator for All-Wear Manufacturing and a member of the Trimble United Methodist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rose will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 13, 2018 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. John "Buck" Carroll, Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Rose (Judy) of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Katrena Rose (Ray) of Kittredge, Colorado; one half brother, Tom Wells (Barbara) of Newbern, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Scotty Rose (Sandi), Carol Lee Robinson (Adam), Ross Taylor (Christine), Kenneth Taylor (Virginia), Kamden Taylor and Erika Gentry (Bryan) and five great-grandchildren, Faith Rose, Alex Rogers, Gavin Taylor Patrice Taylor and Myles Gentry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph R. Rose; one great-grand-daughter, MacKenzie Rose Taylor and one sister, Charmaine Freeman.

Pallbearers will be Tim Rose, Billy Rose, Cody Rose, John Gregory, Austin Gregory and Alan Sims.

The family ask that any memorials be directed to Trimble Elementary School, 256 College Street, Trimble, Tennessee 38259.
