James V. "Jim" Cantrell

James V. "Jim" Cantrell, 66 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at his residence. in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, February 25, 1951 in Cairo, Illinois, he was the son of the late William Cantrell and the late Elly Ivy Cantrell. He was a former employee of HexPol, PolyOne and lot manager for Tim Castellaw Ford. Mr. Cantrell was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ.

Funeral services for Mr. Cantrell will be 12:00 PM on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ located at 1361 Millsfield Highway in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Julian Huey. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ.

He was a loving husband to Arlene Quinn Cantrell of Newbern, Tennessee; and loving father to James Elbert Cantrell (Jennifer Renae) of Gainesville, Texas, Justin Matthew Cantrell (Jennifer K.) of RoEllen, Tennessee and Rose Anna Herrera (Miguel) of Plattville, Colorado. He was the world's greatest PawPaw to Tyler, Michael, Hunter, Mariah, Myranda, Logan and Mylee. He is also survived by two brothers, Billy Cantrell of Martin, Tennessee and Leroy Cantrell of San Diego, California and one sister, Margaret Climer of Lexington, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be Terry Ray, Chad Bryant, Justin Huey, Matt Lewis, Sergio Solorio and Jimmy Turnbo.
