James Gerald Wilson, 71, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, March 12, 1949 in Salem, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late James E. Wilson and the late Margaret I. Girad Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a retired truck driver and member of the Truth in Love Kingdom Fellowship in Dyersburg, Tennessee. He proudly proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, from 1968-1975, where he served three tours of duty in Vietnam before being deployed to Panama for his final tour of duty.
A celebration of life service for Mr. Wilson will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Truth in Love Kingdom Fellowship located at 2095 Forrest Street in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Pastor James Mosley.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Donna Mae Howell Wilson of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sons, Jason Wilson (Amy) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Michael Wilson (Angie) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two daughters, Sandy Threlkeld (Kim) of Sterling, Idaho and Pamela Corkill (Randall) of Houston, Texas; one brother, George Wilson (Missy) of Crandall, Texas; two sisters, Irene Lundberg (Dave) of Bradenton, Florida and Ann Hackett (Russ) of Las Vegas, Nevada; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
