James Dean Goldsmith, 57, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee

Born Friday, September 22, 1967, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he is the son of Hugh Allen and the late Linda Lou Atchison Allen.  Mr. Goldsmith was a retired welder with Prospect Steel.

Graveside services for Mr. Goldsmith will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Greenhills Cemetery in Halls, Tennessee.  Officiating the service will be Chris Criswell.  Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tennessee from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two children: Hugh Goldsmith (Briana) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Candace Carlene Goldsmith Phillips of Dyersburg, Tennessee: four sisters, Penny Goddard of Indiana, Trish Miller of Indiana, Renee Goldsmith of Dyersburg, Tennessee, and Jonra Smith of Kentucky and three grandchildren, Kyliegh Phillips, Ella Goldsmith, and Maddie Goldsmith.

He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Carlene Goldsmith: two brothers Steve Goldsmith and Tony Goldsmith.

Honoring Mr. Goldsmith as pallbearers will be Hugh Goldsmith, Chris Criswell, Logan Lee, Jon North and Alex Summers.
