James Dale Readenour, 56, of Meridian, Mississippi, formerly of Trimble, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Meridian, Mississippi.
Mr. Readenour was born on November 26, 1969, to James Readenour and Barbara Alsip.
James was a dedicated supervisor at Fairbanks Scales in Meridian, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. He took great pride in his work and in the team he helped lead. Those who worked alongside him knew him as dependable, steady, and always willing to do whatever needed to be done. His dedication was not just to the job itself, but to doing it well and doing it right.
Outside of work, James found his greatest joy in fishing. Whether he was casting a line into a quiet farm pond, sitting patiently along a river bank, or heading out into deeper waters, he was at peace with a rod and reel in his hand. Fishing wasn’t just a hobby for him—it was a place of reflection, relaxation, and simple happiness. Many cherished memories were made beside the water.
