James A. Woodley, Jr., 59, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Monday, August 19, 2019, at his residence in Newbern, Tennessee. Born Thursday, October 15, 1959 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late James A. Woodley, Sr. and Wanda Robertson Parmenter. Mr. Woodley spent his career as a certified master auto technician. He was an avid hot rod enthusiast and was currently employed by Rick Hill Nissan as a car hauler.
Funeral services for Mr. Woodley will be Friday, August 23, 2019 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jacob Winegarden. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Tami Fowler Woodley of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Kasey Earp(Brad) of Newbern, Tennessee; his mother, Wanda Robertson Woodley Parmenter of Knoxville, Tennessee; two sisters, Linda Clark of Knoxville, Tennessee and Sylvia Earp of Ladson, South Carolina; brother, Chris Sherrson of Halls, Tennessee and four grandchildren, Zack Lamb, Brandon Lamb, Rylee Earp and Colton Earp.
He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Woodley, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Lamb, Jason Greer, Roger Smith, Jeff Farrow, Dustin Stroup and James Shipley.
