Jackie Dianne Pierce, 70, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Monday, January 13, 2025, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, March 25, 1954, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Clarance Wilson and the late Lavern Evans Wilson. She had an unwavering devotion to her family; her greatest joy was being surrounded by her loved ones. Some of her special memories included coaching her girls in basketball and softball. An avid lover of the outdoors, Jackie had a special passion for canoeing and camping, she found peace in the beauty of the outdoors.
Funeral services for Ms. Pierce will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2025, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Ronnie Sanders. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Shannon Stover (Jay)of Newbern, Tennessee and Niki Kempf (Jay) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two brothers, J. L. Wilson (Brenda) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Johnny Wilson of Dyersburg, Tennessee and she was "Mama Jackie to her ten grandchildren, John Tyler Hammett (Jennifer), Lindy Scott (Cody), Gage Stover (Candace), Cody Stover (Mikalie), Kyle Stover, Alex Stover, Shae Stover, Brooklyn Clifton, Allie Barker and Anna Barker and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jason Hays, one daughter, Lynn Hammett, one sister, Brenda Kindle and one brother, Larry Wilson.
Honoring Ms. Pierce as pallbearers will be Cody Stover, Kyle Stover, John Tyler Hammett, Cody Scott, Chad Kindle and Michael Wilson.
