Imogene L. Davis, of Samburg, Tennessee died on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, Tennessee.
Born Monday, October 29, 1923, in Trimble, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Wealthy Parnell and the late Lessie Rizley Parnell. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. E. C. Davis. She was proud to be the widow of a World War II Veteran and a loving an supportive pastor's wife.
Graveside services for Mrs. Davis will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Michael Glover and Rev. George Hutchinson. Visitation for Mrs. Davis will be held on Saturday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Diana Babel (Paul) of Memphis, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Charles "Chuck" Jackson and Jana Piggott (David) and two great-grandchildren, Sierra Rose Jackson and Charlie Jackson.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Allen Parnell.
Honoring Mrs. Davis as pallbearers will be Shane Cockmon, Danny Marshall, "Doc" Borders, Neil Travis, Ken Asher and Eddie Tittle.
