Helen McWilliams

Helen Dianne McWilliams, 76, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died at her residence on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

Born on Wednesday, November 23, 1949, in Holcomb, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Billy Wayne Hamlett and the late Melsine Magouirk Quiroz. Helen was formerly employed by Lady Luck Casino, where she worked in ticketing and was known for her friendly spirit and warm smile.

Helen found joy in reading and especially loved caring for her family. She was a bright light to those who knew her and will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and loving heart.

Cremation services for Mrs. McWilliams are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Donna Myers Spears of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Penny M. Ramsey of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; one son, Jimmie Franklin Myers, Jr. of Caruthersville, Missouri   and one brother, William Bradford. She was a devoted and loving “Grandma” to her ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny McWilliams.
