Gregory Thomas Haynes Obituary

Gregory Thomas Haynes, 55, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, July 21, 1968, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late George Thomas Harris and the late Mary Helen Barker Harris. He was the owner of the Area 51 Diner in Four Points, Tennessee.

In accordance with Mr. Haynes wishes, he will be cremated, and no formal services will be held.

He is survived by his husband, Rickey Haynes of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Dru-Michael Cole Junior of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sons by choice, Dylan Matthew Ford of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Ronnie Hardin of Dyersburg, Tennessee and four grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Rita Carol Harris.
